Giovanni Pietro Damian (born 9 January 2003) is an Italian singer-songwriter better known by the name sangiovanni. He was born in Vicenza, Veneto, Italy. He first rose to fame after taking part in Italian talent show Amici in 2020, where he won the singers category and finished second overall. His song Malibu from his debut EP sangiovanni topped the Italian single chart for four weeks and was certified seven platinum in Italy.
