Paper Dollhouse is the work of Astrud Steehouder (The Rayographs) and Nina Bosnic (formerly of Liberez). It began as a series of demos written on a keyboard and recorded with a dictaphone. Gradually guitars and vocals were added but a lot of the music is very much in a cinematic vein. Blues-inflected psychedelic fairy tales, music for scenes in films that haven't yet happened... The debut album A Box Painted Black was released on Bird/ Finders Keepers in December 2011, followed by Aeonflower in 2015. ead more on Last.fm
